Yves is a strong healthy male in Sapphire Shepherds breeding program, he is an extremely talented and versatile working dog with outstanding work ethic, character & temperament. He possesses an excellent pedigree, health AND OFA Excellent Hips. He is a working SAR K9, he also works security at NFL games and concerts in NY and resides with his handler/trainer Linda in a multi dog household with numerous grandkids visiting often.
Yves earned his WB (character assessment for dogs 9 - 13 months) under SV Judge Robert Lang, receiving excellent marks throughout, some of which are noted below;
*Under gunfire he is relaxed and neutral.
*In his search work he is intensive target oriented - finds quickly.
*In his social behavior with handler, toward strange people and dogs he is good natured/natural-manageable.
*Environmentally Secure & Behavior under pressure (shaky table/heights/slipper floors) he is self-confident, does not perceive, maintains strong drive, willingness to find and will target achievement without help.
*Temperament while alone is steady and is contact friendly in meeting.
Yves is very clear headed in bite training with full-strong grips and strong-natural aggression. Yves is a great companion dog in the home around other dogs (big & small) and grandchildren. His pedigree is exceptional, loaded with excellent working dogs from both his dam & sire from which he inherited their best qualities;
